Coinnich ri Ramsay

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Ramsay] Is mise Ramsay agus tha mi a’ fuireach ann an Ghlaschu.

[Ramsay] Nis, an seòrsa duine a th’ annam, chan eil sìon agam an aghaidh obair chruaidh fhad ’s a bhios spòrs is cur-seachad gu leòr agam às an dèidh.

[Ramsay] Mar sin, cho luath ’s bhios m’ obair latha seachad Dihaoine, mach às an oifis, seo an deireadh-sheachdain a’ tòiseachadh.

[Ramsay] ‘S toigh leam na ‘s urrainn dhomh de chur-seachadan a dhèanamh anns na dà latha a tha saor agam.

[Ramsay] Agus, ged nach eil an t-airgead pailt, nì mi cinnteach gu bheil mo dheireadh-sheachdain beòthail, aighearach – mach à seo leam.

[Ramsay] An-diugh, tha mi a’ dèanamh air a’ Mhonadh Ruadh – tha mi creidsinn gur e àite gu math ainmeil a tha sin.

[Ramsay] Beantainn, sgitheadh, rudan dha leithid.

[Ramsay] Agus tha mi a’ smaointinn gur e an rud a tha math mun sgìre-sa ‘s e gu bheil e cho goireasach do dhaoine, can ma tha thu air tìr-mòr cheana, bidh thu ann an ceann ‘s dòcha dhà no trì uairean a thìde aig a’ char as fhaide ge bith cà’ bheil thu, ge bith cà’ bheil thu fuireach ach ‘s dòcha ma tha thu a’ fuireach air eilean.

[Ramsay] Ma tha thu ann an Sealtainn no Leòdhas, ‘s dòcha beagan nas fhaide na sin.

[Ramsay] Ach co-dhiù, cur-seachadan, na ceudan dhiubh nan dèanamh an seo agus mar sin, creid sibh gum bi deireadh-sheachdain gu math trang romham.

[Ramsay] Nis, tha mise cianail fhèin measail air an àm seo dhen bhliadhna.

[Ramsay] Foghar, tha foghar againne, agus aithnichidh mi sin air na duilleagan, fhios agad buidhe breagha òr mar siud agus gu bheil sneachd, còmhdach sneachd, bonaid sneachd, air na beantainn a tha siud a chì mi thall bhuam.

[Ramsay] Agus tha mise a’ smaointinn gu bheil, cha b’ urrainn na b’ fhèarr a thaobh seallaidhean agus a thaobh an nàdar a tha mun cuairt ort, an àrainneachd.

[Ramsay] Ach gu dearbh fhèin tha i a’ fàs fuar.

[Ramsay] Cruaidh fheum air long johns.

Meet Ramsay

English Beurla

[Ramsay] I’m Ramsay and I live in Glasgow.

[Ramsay] Now, the type of person I am, I don’t have anything against working hard as long as I have enough fun and activities afterwards.

[Ramsay] Therefore, as soon as my work day is over on Friday, out of the office, my weekend begins.

[Ramsay] I like to do as many activities as possible during my weekends.

[Ramsay] And, although I don’t have lots of money, I’ll make sure that my weekend is lively and cheerful – out of here!

[Ramsay] Today, I’m going to the Cairngorms – I believe it’s a very famous place.

[Ramsay] Mountains, skiing, things like that.

[Ramsay] And I think that the good thing about this area is that it’s so handy for people, if you’re on the mainland at least, it will take you a maximum of two or three hours to get here no matter where you are or where you live, perhaps apart from if you live on an island.

[Ramsay] If you’re in Shetland or Lewis, maybe a bit longer than that.

[Ramsay] But anyway, activities, you can do hundreds of them here and therefore, believe you me that I’ll have a busy weekend ahead of me.

[Ramsay] Now, I’m terribly fond of this time of year.

[Ramsay] Autumn, it’s Autumn for us here, and I can see that on the leaves you know yellow, beautiful, golden like that and because there’s snow, snow covering the mountains there that I can see in front of me.

[Ramsay] And I think that it’s better in terms of sights and the nature that is around you, the environment.

[Ramsay] But for sure, it’s getting cold.

[Ramsay] There’s a strong need for long johns.
