An Aimsir le Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Feasgar math dhuibh a chàirdean. Uill abair thusa gu robh i teth ann an cuid a sgìrean de dh'Alba an-diugh. Gu dearbha ruig i seachd thar fhichead Celsius ann an Srath Alain ann an Siorrachd Pheairt agus gu dearbha cha robh mòran sgìrean eile air cùl sin idir.

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] A-nochd ma-thà ‘s ann tioram a mhaireas cùisean gu ìre mhòr, gu dearbha ‘s ann car sgòthach a bhios cùisean tro sgìrean mu thuath agus dh’fhaodadh gum faicear smùidrich uisge anns na sgìreansa cuideachd. Greisean de dh’iarmailt shoilleir mu mheadhan agus mu cheann a deas na dùthcha. Nise bidh i eadar mu dheich agus trì-deug Celsius a-nochd anns a’ chumantas mar sin dheth cha bhi i faireachdainn buileach cho bruthainneach is a bha i bho chionn oidhche no dhà. Anns a’ chumantas ma-thà a-nochd tha sinn a’ sùileachadh gum bi a’ ghaoth lag agus i tighinn bhon Iar-Thuath ach bidh i làidir tro na h-eileanan mu thuath.

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] A’ toirt sùil air adhart gu a-màireach ma-thà, tha sinn a’ tòiseachadh an tioram le greisean de shoilleireachd agus grèine tro mhòran sgìrean mu mheadhan agus mu cheann a deas na dùthcha ach a-rithist ge-tà ‘s ann car sgòthach a bhios cùisean aig amannan co-dhiù mun àird a tuath.

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Seo agaibh an dealbh ann am barrachd doimhneachd feasgar a-màireach ma-thà. Tha sinn a’ sùileachadh gur ann car sgòthach agus fionnar a mhaireas i tro na h-eileanan mu thuath. Tro na h-Eileanan Siar an aon seòrsa rud cuideachd, timcheall air còig-deug no sia-deug Celsius agus dh’fhaodadh gum faicear corra fhras mu na costaichean mun Iar-Thuath cuideachd. A-rithist ge-tà mar as fhaide gu deas a thathar ‘s ann a bhios i sìor fhàs nas fheàrr, greisean de shoilleireachd agus grèine ach chan eil i gu bhith faireachdainn buileach cho blàth ‘s a tha i air a bhith faireachdainn bho chionn no dhà, aon thar fhichead ma dh’fhaodte dhà thar fhichead celsius aig a’ char as àirde.

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] Nise a’ toirt sùil air adhart gu ciaradh an fheasgair. Chan eil an t-uabhas ag atharrachadh idir. Dh’fhaodadh gum faicear corra fhras a-rithist mu thuath, aimsir car sgòthach anns na sgìrean-sa, a-rithist a’ chuid as fhèarr den ghrèin ri fhaicinn mu mheadhan agus ceann a deas na dùthcha.

[Kirsteen NicDhòmhnaill – Neach-aithris na h-aimsir] A’ toirt sùil air adhart gu Dihaoine. Bruthadh àrd fhathast a’ cumail smachd air cùisean gu ìre ach a’ putadh air falbh rud beag nas fhaide gu siar. Mar sin dheth tha sinn a’ sùileachadh a-rithist gur ann tioram a bhios i gu ìre mhòr, caran sgòthach gu sònraichte mu cheann a tuath na dùthcha, a’ chuid as fhèarr den ghrèin mu mheadhan agus mu cheann a Deas na dùthcha.

The weather with Kirsteen MacDonald

English Beurla

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Good evening everyone. Well it was certainly hot today in most areas of Scotland, reaching over twenty seven degrees Celsius in Strath Allan in Perthshire and a lot of areas not far behind that either.

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Tonight it will stay dry for the most part, cloudy in areas in the North with chances of drizzle also. There will be bright spells around the Central and Southern areas of the country. Generally speaking it will be between ten and thirteen Celsius tonight therefore it shouldn’t feel as humid as it has done the past few nights. Tonight we expect light winds from the North-West but they will be stronger through the Northern Isles.

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] A look ahead to tomorrow and the day will begin dry with sunny and bright spells through most areas in the Central and Southern regions but again expect it to be cloudy at times in the North.

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] A look now at tomorrow afternoon in more depth. We expect it to remain quite cloudy and cool through the Northern Isles. Similar story through the Western Isles, around fifteen or sixteen Celsius with perhaps some showers on the North West coast also. Again though, the further South the better it gets, expect bright and sunny spells but it won’t feel quite as warm as it has been recently, twenty one perhaps twenty two Celsius at the most.

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Now a look ahead to late afternoon and not much is changing. There may be the odd shower again to the North, the weather quite cloudy in these areas, again most of the sun to be seen around the Central and Southern areas of the country.

[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] A look ahead to Friday. High pressure dominating to a certain extent but subsiding slightly later to the West. Therefore we expect it to be dry to a certain extent, a little cloudy particularly around the North of the country with most of the sunshine to be found around the Central and Southern areas.
