11-2011-20

The numbers 11-20 are also quite straightforward in Gaelic. The word deug is added after the number, just like the English suffix "-teen". The only exception for this is the number twelve. After the number two, the word after is always lenited (or an h is added after the first letter), deug is no exception, and so it becomes dheug. Tha na h-àireamhan 11-20 gu math sìmplidh cuideachd anns a’ Ghàidhlig. Tha am facal deug a’ tighinn as dèidh na h-àireimh. A bharrachd air seo tha deug ann an 12 air a shèimheachadh.
