Typing in Gaelic
’S (Is) and ’s (is)
Smart (or curly) quotes can help and hinder! The autocorrect feature turns an apostrophe (') into a single opening quotation mark (‘) and you get this error: ‘s
FIX
Hold down Ctrl + ' together
Or
Turn off "smart quotes" in MS Word. Go to
Word Options > Proofing > Autocorrect Options > Autoformat
On Mac you can also get an "actual" apostrophe by typing Alt+Shift+}
"i" and "I"

FIX
