Coinnich ri oileanaich na ministrealachd

Gaelic Gàidhlig

[Preseantair] Chan eil obair na ministrealachd coltach ri dreuchd sam bith eile, ach cò iad a tha a’ dol a-steach air a shon?

[Iain] Tha còrr is deich bliadhna fichead bho bha mise a’ dèanamh a’ chiad degree agam.

[Innes] Mhothaich mi air an latha ud gun robh Dia gam iarraidh-s’ a dhol a-steach dhan mhinistearalachd.

[Paul] Nam aonar, a bhith dealaichte bho chèile son faisg air bliadhna. Chan e co-dhùnadh furasta a bh’ ann.

[Preseantair] Anns an t-sreath seo, leanaidh sinn oileanaich na h-Eaglaise Saoire anns a’ chiad bhliadhna aca a’ trèanadh airson na ministearalachd.

[Ministear] So, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.

[Preseantair] Trì bliadhna de dh’fhoghlam romhpa.

[Paul] Tha e mar Hogwarts no rudeigin.

[Preseantair] Searmonachadh, aistean, deuchainnean.

[Ministear] It is going to be quite daunting.

[Preseantair] Agus dùbhlain nas pearsanta cuideachd.

[Paul] Tha mi gu bhith beò a-rithist mar student. Go for it

[Innes] Tha mi rudeigin excited, rudeigin nervous cuideachd.

[Iain] Cha do rinn mi càil na mo bheatha a tha cho cudromach ri seo.

Chaidh am prògram seo, Balaich a' Bhìobaill, a chraoladh an toiseach ann an 2015.

Meet the students of the ministry

English Beurla

[Narrator] The work of the ministry is unlike any other job, but who are those that are going into it?

[Iain] It is more than thirty years since I did my first degree.

[Innes] I realised on that day that God wanted me to go into the ministry.

[Paul] Alone, seperated from each other for nearly a year. It wasn’t an easy decision.

[Narrator] In this series we’ll follow Free Church students in their first year training for the ministry.

[Ministear] So, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.

[Narrator] Three years of education ahead of them.

[Paul] It’s like Hogwarts or something.

[Narrator] Preaching, essays, exams.

[Ministear] It is going to be quite daunting.

[Narrator] And more personal challenges too.

[Paul] I am going to be living as a student again. Go for it.

[Innes] I am excited, somewhat nervous too.

[Iain] I haven’t done anything in my life that is as important as this.

This programme, Balaich a' Bhìobaill, was first broadcast in 2015.
